Who we are

Elim Church Carrick (formerly Lakelands Elim) was relaunched in 2021 following the lifting of Covid restrictions. The church meet in Carrick town and are passionate about being a church that serves our community well.

On Sundays you can expect a very informal gathering, lasting about 1hr 15mins, including sung worship, prayer, communion and time to explore the Bible together. During our service we also have a children’s talk and a craft available. After the service, there is time to connect together over tea and coffee.

We love our town and are eager to see all cultures, nations and generations encounter the hope of the gospel. We believe the church should look a lot like family, with all ages, stages and characters, so come as you are and feel welcome.

  • Kathryn Hardingham

    Pastor

    Kathryn is originally from Co.Sligo. She met and married Josh, while studying at bible College in the UK. They now have three beautiful children: Kezzia, Levi and Jonah, and welcome other children into their family through fostering.

    Kathryn is passionate about the local church and growing disciples who impact their communities with the hope and grace of Jesus. She a lover of good coffee, good books and all things rugby.

  • Josh Hardingham

    Worship & Youth

    Josh is originally from England and now works as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Josh has been involved in youth ministry and worship for a number of years. Alongside overseeing these in the local church, Josh is involved with worship and the Cultivate (Elim intern program) across the island.

    When he’s not doing these things, he’s either out for a run, drinking good coffee, or walking his lovely chocolate Labrador: Oakley.

  • Nicole Ukaoma

    Mission Ambassador

    Nicole has been helping the church to engage with Elim missionaries across the world over the past year.

    Nicole is married to Anderson and they have 4 beautiful girls. She also runs an online business from home, Scentsy - keeping the church up to date with missions and smelling amazing.
